    Beggars

“Men are desperate, in a state of absolute spiritual poverty. The main issue in evangelism is not in proving that Christ is a Savior, but that they personally are in need of Him as their savior.

No man meets Christ as their savior on equal footing, it is always as them a beggar for the riches of Him.

This should change our prayer, our approach to evangelism. All men must become aware of their poverty to receive riches”

    Quote from Tertullian

How beautiful, then, the marriage of two Christians, two who are one in home, one in desire, one in the way of life they follow, one in the religion they practice . . . Nothing divides them either in flesh or in spirit . . . Seeing this Christ rejoices. To such as these He gives His peace. Where there are two together, there also He is present.”
