Do all things work for my good?
As Scripture says they would

A different view helps me understand
The good my Father planned

My good is not in any worldly thing
I do not fear what life may bring

For this life is but a vapor
My good lies with my Creator

How can I know that you are God
If ever onward I trod?

Never stopping to reflect
On what the past can lead me to expect

All I know is your favor
Your goodness I can always savor

You are not God by what you do
But by it I know you are true
